Meet Dr. Blake Hillstead

Welcome to Hillstead Family Orthodontics! We’re excited to help you and your family achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.

Dr. Blake Hillstead attended Brighton High School before serving an LDS mission in India and Nepal. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Brigham Young University and his dental degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. During dental school, Dr. Hillstead underwent orthodontic treatment himself for the first time! Through this process, he grew to love orthodontics and decided to pursue a career creating beautiful smiles!

Dr. Hillstead completed his orthodontic residency at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, where he served as Chief Resident and focused his research on maintaining good oral hygiene during orthodontic treatment.

A Board-Certified Orthodontist, Dr. Hillstead has achieved a distinction earned by only one-third of orthodontists. He is also Invisalign-certified and brings more than 15 years of orthodontic experience to Draper.

Outside the office, Dr. Hillstead and his wife, Alison, enjoy life with their five children. As a family, they love hiking, playing at the beach, traveling, and exploring all that Utah has to offer. Draper has been home for more than 10 years, making it especially meaningful to open a practice where they can care for the community they know and love.

At Hillstead Family Orthodontics, our mission is simple: to provide exceptional care that creates beautiful, confident smiles. We believe every patient deserves to feel welcome, valued, and cared for throughout their orthodontic journey.

We look forward to welcoming you to our practice! Contact us today to schedule your consultation and take the first step toward your best smile.
